The Keswick Mountain Festival is offering a ‘Hike’ programme this year which features hikes for all experience levels throughout the day and night and helps visitors explore the stunning landscape that surrounds the festival.
Walking activities will take place throughout the festival, May 14th to 17th, and are sponsored by Hi-Tec and HF Holidays. Visitors can choose from 30 different guided walks which range from gentle family-friendly strolls to more challenging hikes, such as a hike up Helvellyn during the early hours of the morning.
Hi-Tec is also inviting people to join their ‘Big Walk’ and has thousands of route maps available for three classic Keswick walks, which are different lengths and levels and suitable for all walkers. Hikers who complete any of the three ‘Big Walks’ will have a chance at winning a seven night adventure walking holiday for a family of four, courtesy of HF Holidays, plus Hi-Tec kit.
